Las historias que le gustan a Misumi

Miau, ¡hola amigos! Quería deciros que me encanta escuchar historias, sobre todo si se cuentan con cariño. Pero en especial me encanta escuchar la de mi nacimiento. Siempre pido que me la cuenten una y otra vez y hoy me gustaría que vosotros también la escuchaseis. Resulta que, a veces, los hijitos nacen del corazón y yo nací del corazón de tres mamás. Ellas me dicen que suelo ser simpático y entrañable como mi mamá Miriam, amable y cariñoso como mi mamá Susi y muy travieso como mi mamá Miriam 2 (¡así es cómo la llamo, jajaja!). Ellas decidieron llamarme así porque estoy conformado por la esencia de mis tres queridas mamis. Si pones sus dos primeras letras juntas, obtienes... ¡MISUMI! Ahora que ya sabéis mi historia, me encantaría conocer la tuya, ¿te gustaría contarme algo de ella?.

Meow! Hi friends!  I wanted to tell you that I love hearing stories, specially when they come from the very bottom of the heart. But the story that I love to hear the most is ''The day I was born". I can't help it, I just need to hear that story again and again! Sometimes, babies are born from the heart and I was born from the heart of my three beautiful mommys. They usually say I'm nice and cute like mommy Miriam; kind and  loving like mommy Susie and naughty and playful like mommy Miriam 2 (that's how I call her, hahahaha!).
They decided to call me Misumi because of their names. If you put their two first letters together, you finally get.... MISUMI! Now that you know a bit more about me, I'd love to hear from your own story. Would you like to talk to me about it?

La filosofía Misumi dice que un maestro o una maestra nunca puede dejar de aprender. Hoy, el pequeño Misumi, ha ido con Papú al parque. Se lo pasaban en grande hasta que nuestro amigo se ha subido a un árbol y luego no se podía bajar.
Finalmente, Papú llamó a su mamá para que lo ayudara a bajarse.

Today, the little Misumi, has been with Papu at the park. They were enjoying until our friend, got on a tree and then he couldn't get down. Finally, Papu called his mother to help him to get down.

Hi, meow! I'm Misumi!

Today I have been doing an activity and I had a lot of fun doing it. I have learnt some new animal's names in English and I painted them how I like! They're all very cute... but not cuter than me though, hehe.

I've chosen ''Love you forever'', as it's one of my favourite books I have ever read. This is a story of how a little boy goes through the stages of childhood and becomes a man. It is also about the enduring nature of parents' love and how it crosses generations.
Love you forever is a book that both adults and children will enjoy, over and over again.

Hoy os voy a enseñar un sitio super especial para mi, mi propia biblioteca! Está llena de libros infantiles, y no me puedo esperar a enseñaros algo ya!
He escogido ''Te queré siempre'' por ser de los mejores cuentos que he leído.
Esta es una historia de cómo un niño pasa por todas sus etapas de crecimiento hasta convertirse en hombre. También habla del amor incondicional de los padres y como pasa generación tras generación.
''Te querré siempre'' es un libro que tanto adultos como niños disfrutarán, una y otra vez.
Para escuchar la historia, la podéis ver online con ''Storybooknanny'' a través de Youtube, para mi, una de las mejores cuentacuentos que hay!

¡Buenas!

En esta entrada de nuestro blog nos gustaría explicaros por qué hemos escogido este tema para el blog. Hoy en día es muy importante conocer idiomas. Prácticamente se ha convertido en una obligación. Así que esto preocupa mucho a padres y madres, que ya buscan escuelas infantiles bilingües y formas de hacer que su/s niño/a/s aprendan inglés desde la edad más temprana posible. Por ello, como futuras docentes, nos preocupa cubrir esta necesidad que está surgiendo, tanto para los niños y niñas como para los padres, madres y tutores de esos niños y niñas.
Además cabe destacar que hay numerosos estudios que prueban que la enseñanza del segundo idioma ha de comenzar a una edad muy temprana (entre los 0 y los 6 años) con el fin de que el niño pueda interiorizarlo con más facilidad. Durante estos primeros años es cuando se generan más conexiones neuronales. Una de las claves fundamentales para la adquisición de un idioma es que el niño lo aprenda de forma natural, al igual que aprende su primer idioma. Así el niño/a lo interioriza como una segunda lengua materna y no como lengua extranjera.
Un estudio realizado por Ellen Bialystok y Michelle Martin-Rhee (2008) apunta que niños preescolares bilingües son más hábiles a la hora de solucionar problemas y presentan una mayor concentración, atención y memoria. El aprendizaje de idiomas estimula la capacidad intelectual de los niños ya que es un estupendo entrenamiento mental que ayuda a ejercitar las habilidades lingüísticas. Otro aspecto demostrado, es que manejar un segundo idioma aumenta la autoestima de los niños. En el futuro, esos niños serán más flexibles, y su mente estará más abierta al mundo y a los demás.

In this entry we'd like to explain why we chose this subject for our blog. Nowadays it's really important to speak different languages. It's almost an obligation. This is a matter of worry for parents, who are looking for bilingual kindergardens and other activities to make their children speak English as soon as possible.
As future Early Childhood Teachers we aim for cover this need in parents and their children.
In addition, there are numerous studies that prove early teaching of the second language (between 0-6 years old) is necessary because children learn languages more easily at that age. They generate more neuronal connections. Children learn the language more naturally, the same way they learn their first language. They learn it as a second mother language instead of as a foreign language.
A study realized by Ellen Bialystok and Michelle Martin-Rhee (2008) prove that bilingual preschool children have more ability for problem resolution and a higher concentration, atention and memory. Languages tearning estimulates the intellectual capacity of children because is a great training for their brains. It help them to exercise their linguistic abilities. Futhermore, it increases the children's self-esteem. In the future they will be more flexible and open-minded.

Well, behind Misumi there are three people and we'd like to tell you something about us:

My name is Myriam Díaz and I'm an Early Chilhood Educator and a student of Childhood Education Teaching Degree at university. I also work as a babysitter and I look after my neighbour's daughter. In the future I'd like to study Special Education.
I am 24 years old and from my point of view I'm a shy, responsible, sensitive, creative, cheerful and a very honest person. My favourite hobby is drawing but I like walking, reading, watching anime and learning languages that, of course, include English. My level is B2 and I'd like to increase it in the future.
I hope you like our blog and have lots of fun with us and Misumi!

Mi nombre es Myriam Díaz y soy técnico superior en Educación Infantil y estudiante de Magisterio de Educación Infantil en la universidad. Además actualmente trabajo como niñera cuidando de una niña de mi vecindario. En el futuro me gustaría formarme en Educación Especial.
Tengo 24 años y me considero una persona tímida, responsable, sensible, creativa, alegre y honesta. Mi afición favorita es dibujar aunque también me gusta pasear, leer, ver series de animación y aprender idiomas, entre ellos, por supuesto, el inglés. Tengo nivel B2 y me gustaría seguir aumentando mi nivel en el futuro.

Hi everyone!
My name's Susie and I'm 37 years old. I come from Barcelona but now I live in Seville. I'm an early childhood educator and I have been working as an early years educator for many years. Long, ago, around 2001, I went to England to work as an Au-Pair, so that's where I learnt English. When I came back to Spain, I found myself a bit lost, on what to do next, but willing to never stop learning! 
Very young learners have always been my passion, specially babies, so I started to work at different nursery schools. As time went by, I realised there was a lot to do with bilingual nursery schools in Spain, and even more, at Preschools and Kindergardens. So that's why I'm here, studing at 37 my teaching degree, it's never too late, you know! 
I like listening to classical music, reading english tales, I have a tone of books for children in my house, love them all!!
I see myself as an easygoing person, enthusiastic, positive and energetic kind of  girl with a high motivation who will do anything to get my dream come true.

Me llamo Susi y tengo 37 años. Soy de Barcelona pero actualmente vivo en Sevilla. Soy educadora infantil y he trabajado como tutora con los peques muchos años. Hace mucho, por allá en 2001, me fuí a Inglaterra a trabajar de Au-Pair, así que allí fue donde aprendí el inglés. Cuando volví a España, me encontré un poco perdida porque no estaba segura de qué camino escoger, pero dispuesta a no dejar de aprender nunca! 
Los niños muy pequeñitos (especialmente los bebés), han sido siempre mi pasión, así que empecé a trabajar en muchas guarderías. Así que aquí estoy, a mis 37 y cursando el grado en magisterio de educación infantil, ¡nunca es tarde!
Me encanta escuchar música clásica, leer cuentos infantiles en inglés... tengo un montón, como una tonelada en casa me gustan todos!!
Me veo como una persona fácil de llevar, entusiasta, ese tipo de chica positiva y enérgica con alta motivación que está dispuesta a hacer lo que sea por tal de hacer su sueño realidad.

Hi boys and girls!! My name is Miriam Lagares, and I'm an ''Adaptation to Early Childhood Education Teaching Degree'' student. I am 31 years old and I've been working for many years with babies and toddlers in different nursery schools.
I love what I do and so do  my friends! Also I love to research in the pedagogical area so I can find new projects that seek to adopt, implement and encourage innovate and good quality approaches in education, and then set them in my clasroom.
Learning the new subject TIC (Comunication & Information Tecnology), we found that Early Childhood Education students were having a lack of learning a foreign language, as well as in the learning of emotional education.
With all this, we want to show the importance of the foreign language acquisition in the early years.
Through the creation of this blog, we would like to recommend to all preschool teachers around the world, as well as their own families in a funny way!

Hola chicos y chicas, soy Miriam Lagares, soy alumna de Adaptación a Grado  de Educación Infantil. Tengo 31 años y  he trabajado durante varios años con peques de distintos ciclos de  Educación Infantil. 
Al igual que mis compis amo mi profesión. Me encanta investigar en nuevos ámbitos pedagógicos y aplicarlos a mi metodología en el aula.
Cursando una asignatura de la carrera(TIC), descubrimos que el alumnado de Educación Infantil venía sufriendo cierto tipo de carencias en el aprendizaje de la Lengua Extranjera así como el aprendizaje y control de las emociones, tan imprescindible en estas edades.
Con ello queremos reflejar  la importancia que adquiere la adquisición de la lengua extranjera en estas etapas tempranas. 
A través de la creación de este blog proponemos su acercamiento a las aulas de todos los maestros de infantil de todo el mundo, así como a las familias de forma divertida.
